LIT Program

Camp Sempervirens is dedicated to facilitating the growth of our campers. We are proud to offer a junior leadership program where campers ages 15-17 are welcome to spend a week learning what it takes to be a camp counselor. During this time they will receive lessons on leadership as attend classes on working with today’s camper. LIT week also places a huge focus on self esteem and team building. After our LIT’s (leaders in training) graduate at the end of the week they are invited back as volunteer staff for the remaining 3 weeks of camp. LIT’s are eligible for paid camp positions after 2 summers of being an assistant leader. LIT week is:
